SO- today- true story...

I was on my way to church and not only did I see a dead armadillo, but I saw a LIVE rattlesnake.. like where the F am I?!?!

Yeah, so that was interesting. Went to the pool only to have a tropical rainstorm stop on by while I was there. So here I sit blogging like a fool. I started a book club though! I know it sounds nerdy, but I love reading, and meeting new people and I thought this would be a great way to do both. Right now I am reading "Straight Talking" by Jane Green. It is so funny and so true. Mostly about how women are so silly in relationships. The best part is that it is about a woman from Europe, so she calls all of the men "bloaks." Thats the term I am going to start using. "ya bloody bloak!"

Another work week approaching! Only 15 days until recruitment kickoff. &%$! There are 1,033 women signed up as of last Friday so I am guessing we are up over 1,050 by now. It sure is a different dynamic here. I signed a golf cart waver the other day so I can ride from house to house while they do their stupid skits, singing, dancing, and spending 10k on recruitment. Wasn't the IUP recruitment budget like $200??? HAHAHA. The funny part is that my beloved Sigma Chi brothers here at FSU find 1,200 freshmen girls walking down the street to be a party so they sit out in their yard, drinking, and whistling to the passing PNMs. It really is a circus here.... 1,200 pnms, rattlesnakes, and too-slow armadillos.
